What's in the template
Six columns, one row per subscription. Subscription and Cost are the obvious ones; the columns that actually save you money are Billing cycle and Next charge (so nothing renews by surprise) and Still using? — the honest answer that tells you what to cancel.
How to use it
Copy it into Google Sheets or download the CSV, then work through your last three statements and add a row for everything that repeats. Sort by Next charge to see what's coming up, and by Still using? to find the dead weight.
Revisit it once a quarter. The value isn't the spreadsheet — it's the habit of looking, on purpose, before the charges look for you.
The honest limitation of any template
A template is a photograph: accurate the moment you fill it in, and quietly wrong a month later when a price changes, a trial converts, or you forget to add the new thing you signed up for. That's the gap Recurrings is built to close — it reads your statements, keeps the list current on its own, and warns you before a renewal hits. The template is a great place to start; it just shouldn't be the place you stop.
Common questions
How do I use this template?
Copy it to Google Sheets or download the CSV, then add one row per subscription: the service, what it costs, how often it bills, the next charge date, and whether you still use it. Sort by renewal date to see what's coming.
Does this work in Excel?
Yes. Download the CSV and open it in Excel, Numbers, or any spreadsheet app, or copy the columns straight in.
How is a template different from an app?
A template is a snapshot you maintain by hand — it's accurate the day you fill it in and slowly drifts after that. Recurrings keeps the same list live automatically, so it's never out of date.
