Privacy Policy
Written to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version
recurrings.ai exists to track your recurring commitments, not to monetize your attention. We collect what the product needs to work, we never ask for bank credentials, our AI providers don't train on your data, and you can export your data or ask us to delete everything. There are no advertising trackers anywhere on this site.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address and name when you sign up or join a waitlist, and optionally a phone number and country if you choose to share them.
Content you give us. Statements you upload (CSV or PDF), emails you forward to your private workspace inbox, and items you add by hand. This is the heart of the product — it can include financial details like merchant names, amounts, and dates from documents you choose to share.
Workspace data. Your workspace name, member roles, budgets, alert settings, and the recurring items and transactions the AI extracts on your behalf.
What we don't collect. Bank logins or credentials — the product is designed never to need them. Optional integrations (bank connections, calendar sync, WhatsApp) activate only when you explicitly connect them.
How AI processing works
When you upload a statement, forward a receipt, or ask the Copilot a question, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract structure: merchants, amounts, currencies, billing cycles, renewal dates. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train their models.
Our AI Copilot is read-only: it can summarize, detect waste, and draft emails for you to send — it cannot take actions on your accounts. When configured, our AI observability tooling (Langfuse) records token counts and cost metadata about AI calls, not the content of your documents.

Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active so that history, insights, and price-change detection keep working — that's the product. Uploaded statements are kept so parses can be reviewed and re-run. When your workspace is deleted, its records — items, transactions, budgets, members, and files — are deleted with it.
Your rights
You can access and export the data you've added, correct anything inaccurate, and request deletion of your account and workspace at any time by emailing privacy@recurrings.ai. We honor these rights for everyone, not only where a regulation compels us to.
Children
recurrings.ai is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 16.
