What to include

The math
tool (monthly) = seats × price-per-seat × times billed per year ÷ 12 monthly total = Σ tool (monthly) cost per seat = monthly total ÷ total seats
Each tool's cost is converted to a monthly equivalent first, so a yearly contract sits next to a monthly one on the same scale. A 12-seat plan at $231/seat/year counts as $231 × 12 ÷ 12 = $231/month.
