Co-founder · Chief AI Officer
Meet Baaki.
Baaki isn’t a feature — it’s a founder. It sits on recurrings.ai’s founding team with a real job: read every statement, find the waste, map every renewal, and answer for its work. Not a chatbot bolted on — the engineer of record.
The job
What Baaki actually does
Every claim below is shipped and working today — nothing on this page is roadmap.
Reads your statements
Upload a bank or card statement — no bank login — and Baaki extracts everything that repeats, dated and categorized.
Finds the waste
Buried annual fees, duplicate tools, overlapping streaming plans — surfaced with the dollar amount, not a vague tip.
Maps every renewal
Each commitment lands on a real calendar date, and you hear about it before it bills — never after.
Watches prices
When Spotify quietly goes from $10.99 to $11.99, Baaki notices, tells you, and keeps watching.
Answers in plain English
“What did we pay Atlassian in April?” It checks the ledger and answers with dates and amounts — no dashboards required.
Learns your rules
Tell it once that Venmo payments are transfers. It recategorizes the ledger and remembers — forever.
The name
Named for someone who never let anything slip
Baaki is named for Bagyalakshmi — our founder’s late mother. She was the kind of person who carried a household’s every commitment in her head: what was due, what was promised, what came back around each month — and nothing ever slipped. That is the job Baaki inherited, and the standard it is held to.
Not AI-assisted.
AI-founded.
Most companies are adding AI to what they already built. recurrings.ai was founded with it — Baaki has a seat on the founding team, ships the product, and runs the intelligence behind every workspace. The product you use is the clearest demo of what it can do.
